I am an Elementary Teacher. Watching Dance Moms I understand Abby’s point of view as an “educator”. We want productive students. Students with intrinsic motivation. I think Abby is a very caring instructor, but like the saying says “It’s business, not personal”. Abby being a single child had to find intrinsic motivation, focus on “the end in mind”. Suggestion to Abby and Moms outbursts……keep it behind closed doors for the kids sake
